Stunning staircases

As a manufacturer of stairs, handrails and railings, Bättig Design has an innovative approach that has won it a loyal following among homeowners, architects, designers and builders. And the word is spreading. Bättig recently created five impressive staircases in one of Montreal’s most iconic hotels: The Queen Elizabeth. They were challenging to design and build, given their long curves, glass panels and invisible welding seams.

Homeowners can draw inspiration from Bättig’s design book if they want to create a custom look in their homes.

The company is rebranding itself, a process expected to be complete in early 2019. Bättig is ready for any challenge because it’s always a step ahead of trends.

Honouring its home town, Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth boasts a brand new design blending a contemporary decor with a vintage flair reminiscent of Montreal’s golden years. #MomentsQEH
