DiCaprio is far from new to eco-friendly living, His high-end Greenwich Village apartment in the sought-after Delos Building proves that eco-friendliness can be simultaneously practical and luxurious. The large apartment has two bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms, each space outfitted with features to foster health for both tenants and the Earth.

The Delos abode was developed using the WELL Standard Model which strives to optimize quality of life while assuring environmental wellbeing. Its perks include custom flooring that uses heat reflexology to improve posture. The lights are optimized to match natural circadian rhythms – a great way to live in tune with the earth.  A shower is infused with vitamin C, and an ultraviolet system eliminates microbes from the air.

The apartment also offers access to a wellness concierge and features built-in juicers that streamline composting. The home showcases how the star embraces the lifestyle he recommends.

Located at 66 East 11th Street, it rents for $25,000USD per month. While perhaps out of reach financially to many, the home highlights the practical day-to-day benefits of eco-friendly living. •
