Some houses are new. Some houses are brand new. Then there’s the Max and Katia Pacioretty place.
Location is everything for the Montreal Canadiens star forward and his wife. And their five-bedroom contemporary home is a brisk jog away from the team’s state-of-the-art South Shore training facility and a short hop to all the shopping Katia and Max could possibly desire.
For a residence so recently designed and built – by Paolo Presti and Presti Construction – on an unpaved street that still has more empty lots than upmarket domestic dwellings, the Paciorettys seem remarkably settled. Maybe it’s the nomadic life of hockey players and their companions, or Katia’s talent and energy for interior decorating, but theirs is already a house to call home.
