This Outremont condo was in a neighbourhood familiar to him, but the quest to decorate it took owner Pierre Cloutier, a chartered professional accountant, into unexplored territory: he discovered an untapped passion for design. He also loved the area where the condo is situated.
“I didn’t bother looking at other neighbourhoods,” Pierre says. “There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.” He maintains an office on Laurier Ave., the trendy and bustling end of Outremont. At the end of a long workday, though, the owner of this newly built two-bedroom condo seeks refuge. He found it in the more subdued northern end of the district, one that is a mix of residential and industrial buildings.
