Designers Vanja Santic and Dario Drinovac have been practising some social engineering on their dinner guests. Let’s call it guest-herding. The couple, who run the Vancouver design firm Room8 and who designed their own home in Kitsilano, love to entertain — and they have the perfect kitchen in which to do it. Taking up half the area of the two-storey home’s ground floor, the kitchen opens to the outdoor deck at one end and the open dining and living area at the other.
