H – Herb Garden: It’s so satisfying to raise your own fresh produce. We think herbs are an absolute must for the garden. Imagine being able hand-pick salads and herbal teas. Herb gardens don’t require a lot of space and can be grown in an assortment of quirky pots.
Tip: Create a visual feast by growing your garden in unusual containers. Why not try to produce strawberries in an up-cycled handbag, a cheap pair of rain boots or vintage biscuit tin? Grow a whole salad in an old wooden desk or your favourite herbs in a tea pot, mug or watering can. Create an urban terrace orchard using an array of coloured baskets, beach buckets, or terracotta pots, all of which make fun plant holders.
