It’s a long way from the northern Mediterranean to the east coast of the Pacific Ocean, but this Nanoose Bay kitchen made it. When the current owners bought the house, the kitchen had what designer Ines Hanl says was a Tuscan feel, with many Italianate elements.
“We wanted to make it more in line with the external environment,” says one of the owners. “We’re on the ocean, and we wanted to bring some of the outside indoors.”
