The first-ever Circuit Index-Design Montréal (#CIDM14) is taking place Sept. 19, and you’re invited to get on the bus for a local design tour.
Aimed primarily at design-industry professionals, the idea is to celebrate design in a relaxed setting, the event features many presentation and networking opportunities. “It will also be a great opportunity to discuss ideas and, of course, get as sense of the vast range of excellent products available in Quebec,” says Cindy Couture, Index-Design’s editorial and brand director.
The #CIDM14 is made up of a number of routes with activities and over 1,000 different designers, projects and addresses to check out. The new, full-day event also features temporary installations for designers to set up in spaces along the way. Activities, conceptual installations, new products and presentations vary as visitors travel from location to location, as each participating company shows off its creativity.
Choose a circuit, hop on the shuttle bus and you’re off to celebrate local, Quebecois design!
If you aren’t sure where to start, the #CIDM14 has offered suggested circuits curated by five local design mavericks to guide you.
